He's 8. His kindle is cool cause it allows me to set time limits in his. His profile is set for a kid, so he can't go all over the Internet with it. There's lots of restrictions for him. What were they? Have things worked out for you, or have you regretted your purchase?</p> <p>We have a first generation iPad, so it can't do as much anymore. It was a gift, which is the only reason we have it. It's mostly used for kids games now because of its age, but it's still cool to have. We let our LO play it on occasion, but he actually forgets about it most of the time. </p> <p>We talked about maybe getting a Wii when LO is 5, but we would definitly put some rules in place for it! We are also a bit selfish because we want to play the games we are used to like Mario and Donkey Kong lol. </p>
