I’ve been going every 1-2 weeks during all my pregnancies, it’s helped me so much! I’ve taken my babies a few days after delivery too.

I did it for #2 and 3. Helped with pelvic pain and my second labor was super fast! I only went for pregnancy but I ob goes there all the time (they specialize in pregnancy and family) so I felt good about it!

I used to believe chiropractors were just hooey, but pelvic pain and misalignment made me go to one about 28 weeks pregnant this fall. The chiro was highly qualified with pregnant women and she really fixed me. She did some cupping too. I felt so much better after just one time. I'm a believer. FWIW I had an extraordinarily fast and easy delivery with my almost eight pound son!! she said second and third pregnancies, you're very loosened up and it can cause a lot of pain. But also makes it easier to push babe out 😉

The chiropractor was a lifesaver while I was pregnant! I had awful SI joint issues with both of my pregnancies, and my OB actually suggested I see a chiropractor to help when he saw how terribly I was getting around with my first.

Also, no way of knowing if it made a difference or not - but I went the afternoon before I was induced with my second baby for one last alignment at that stage and had such a smooth delivery. It was like night and day from my first (which, of course, could have been just a second baby thing) - but I don't think the last minute chiro visit then hurt.

Thank you so much! This makes me feel better. Even if it just helps pop my back I'm happy with that cause the past two days its killing me. I found a place down the street with great reviews and she is certified and also has great credentials and experience. I made an appointment and she actually had a spot for tomorrow!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I'm happy just for some relief..bonus if it helps align my hips and body to help labor later on.

@cyoung: I went to one for my second pregnancy to help get my pelvis aligned and prep my body for a potential vbac. I said to myself if I had a successful vbac then I’d go back to see them next time and I did so I’m going back! I actually just got off the phone from booking my appointment for next week.

I don’t think it’s unsafe at all. They’re trained for pregnant people and the techniques they use are different for pregnant women. Also, go and see how you feel to gauge your opinion about them. If it makes your body feel better then it’s worth it and it’s working for you. Like a previous poster said I don’t know if it helped, but it didn’t harm. I also did acupuncture in my 39th week and will do so again.

I know a lot of people are wary for some reason, pregnant and non-pregnant alike, but I see no issue with them and have had several pregnant friends visit them and go postpartum too.

I went to a chiro with both pregnancies (and acupuncture) and never heard it was unsafe. I can't say for certain it helped, but definitely didn't cause any harm in my case. Acupuncture was a godsend for my back pain though (with this especially I hear it can start labor early and to be cautious, but I personally believe baby will only come out when ready!).

I went during my last pregnancy. I can't say for sure that the chiro did do anything except pop my back...but even that was worth it to me. My belly prevented me from turning/twisting/stretching well and I felt so stiff all the time; getting popped felt great.

I went all through my pregnancy, I'm 100% sure it helped my body. Webster technique was used on me and it helped a lot with round ligament pains.

My best friend is a chiro and she wouldn't have recommended I go if it was unsafe in pregnancy. People are just paranoid about chiro in general, even though it's one of the more widely accepted holistic treatments/practices.

I went during my second pregnancy starting at 25 weeks right up until I went into labor! As long as they have a table that accommodates pregnant bellies are they are certified, it is perfectly safe.

I swear it made labor so much easier. With my first I pushed for 3 hours. With my second I only needed 5 pushes total! My chiro kept everything nice and aligned, she even used k-tape on my rib area when DS was sticking his feet up there, totally helped with the rib pain.

I'm thinking about getting a chiropractor to help align my back and body. I've been pregnant 3-4 years in a row and my body is a little out of wack and just lately feels so stiff and sore. I also heard it helps make labor go more smoothly. The person I want to go to is certified to do pregnant women and knows the Webster technique. I was talking with some Facebook ladies and some said it's not safe even if certified and probably shouldn't. Is going chiropractor really unsafe? I've heard the opposite

Also some people say that chiropractors are just a "myth" that all they do is pop your back
