@NYCaliMama: yes! they are so yummy!!

@mrs. wagon: ok, so i just had to ask dr. google and this is what he had to say: I just wanted to let you know what happened to a friend of mine. She had given her three year old a Gogurt for snack (it was not frozen, just chilled). Fifteen minutes later the 3 year old turned blue and stopped breathing. My friend immediatly called 911. The operater asked her a series of questions, she stopped her when she realized the child had eaten a Gogurt. The operater warned my friend that this happens often. The yogurt in Gogurt is so thick and the tube is much wider than a kids esophogus. The yogurt had gotten stuck in the child's esophogus, preventing her to breath. The Gogurt box warns parents not to give kids under 6 frozen yogurt, but it is actually very dangerous frozen or not! Thank God the little girl is now fine, everything turned out O.K. If you give your child Gogurts, please stop!! Just want to keep all of the kids safe.

When my LO eats it frozen she just kind of naws at it so I can't imagine she would swallow a whole chunk but I will keep my eye on her from now on, just in case!

@Andrea: I do the same with Trader Joe's yogurts! I think they are called Squishies? DD calls them "yogurt popsicles". I think they are so good frozen too :) Never knew about the age warning!

@mrs. wagon:
haha I wanted to try the Champions but my husband said the container was too small! And we like the strawberry, blueberry and peach. BJs also has pineapple, mango and black cherry.
I wish they had more variety!

@Andrea: no idea! Was totally planning on giving it to Wagon Jr. until I saw the recommendation on the packaging to wait til 5 years. I'll prob let him eat it non frozen (or a little thawed) with my supervision... i can imagine it getting messy if not frozen!

Another thread about food... can you tell I'm sitting in bed all day with nothing to do but eat and hellobee?? :) Oh, and watch Saved by the Bell on netflix ;)

It took me a while to like greek yogurt, but finally my tastebuds caught up to my brain and I like eating it as a healthy substitute for ice cream or anything creamy and rich that I'm craving. The only problem was that I didn't like the flavors that came in the Costco packs (the peach was ok, but the strawberry just tasted like strawberry jam and I'm not crazy about blueberry) and I could never finish them-- I'd always have like 1/3 left and I'd force myself to eat it, which is not a fun way to end something that's supposed to be creamy and sweet!

Enter Chobani Champions... the kids version! I bought a pack from Costco and I'm loving them so far. The size is PERFECT for me and the flavor I've tried so far (Honey-Nana, hehe) is sooooo yummy and creamy. And it's not as rich as the regular ones. And it's pre-mixed. I'm excited to try the other flavor (Mixed Berry) tonight.

Wagon Sr. is so funny, he brings me one and says "here you go, my Champion". Haha. I love it when kids' stuff is healthy and a better option for you as a non-kid!

Oh we also bought gogurts because they had frozen ones as a sample... YUM!!! Wagon Jr. is too little to have them (they say wait til they're 5 to let them have it frozen... !!) but we're totally indulging in them. They taste like a mix between strawberry ice cream and pinkberry, in a convenient single-serving tube!
