I wouldn't think it would be from the chocolate, I eat a TON of chocolate and I have not experienced what you are yet.

Are you eating a ton of chocolates? I can't really imagine that having an issue.

Hi All

LO is almost eleven weeks old and exclusively breastfed and since Christmas I've noticed that LO has been having mucus in her poop. It's happened on the odd occasion in the past but today she had a bowel motion that was pretty much all mucus.

From what I've read online it can be caused by excessive saliva and LO is definitely a drooler but I wondered if it might be caused by all the chocolate I've been eating since Christmas.

LO is otherwise pretty content but has been a little fussy at the breast over the last day or so and chocolate is really the only thing that I can think of that might be upsetting her digestion.

Thanks in advance,
K
