We started doing this a few months back and I love it. I put 5 outfits, including a diaper and socks, into zip lock baggies. They are then kept in a basket along with her hairbrush, sun hat and raincoat (will be winter coat, hat and gloves in winter). DH grabs a bag each morning and dresses her (he does dropoff).

When I put away laundry I put outfits together in hanging shoe organizers instead of a dresser. One outfit per cubby, and the bottom two cubbies are socks and undies.

Yes, Sunday night I make 5 piles of clothes (down to socks/undies) for my almost 4 year old and she gets to choose which one she wears that day.

I just did this for school days for the fall! I put outfits together on a hanger in her closet. This is going to make dressing for school sooooo much easier. A.) DH won't have to "try" to make outfits :silly: and B.) he or I can just pull out two things and let DD pick one. So easy, no fights! I may even add socks and hair bows/clips if I'm feeling crazy  .

I do this too! It save so much time. On Sunday I pick out clothes for both LOs for the week.

Our kids get dressed downstairs after they eat breakfast. I was putting their clothes in hanging cubby organizers in their closets, but half the time I'd forget to grab their clothes, so I was running back upstairs to get them. Lately I've been stacking all of their outfits and putting them in a laundry basket (our laundry room is off our kitchen), so it makes it much easier to just grab an outfit off the top.

Yes! I pick out Mon-Fri on Sunday night. Saves time in the morning, especially when I am solo. But DH likes it that he doesn't have to put something together. He just has to match the shoes.

I have a hanging cubby organizer in the closet, outfits go in there. It's technically 6 cubbies, I don't specify the day, we can pick whatever is weather appropriate.

I do this for both kids! As a full time working (and long commuting) mom, it makes the mornings SO much easier.

Do any of you pick out your LO's outfits a week at a time? Do you think this works out well and saves time/stress in the morning or is it easier just to pick out the outfit the day of? Where do you keep the outfits so they stay together?

I've been thinking of doing this to make life easier on school days. I would let LO help me pick out outfits on Sunday for the 4 days she goes to school.
