It's really a series of lessons broken down by age group. They're pretty quick and easy, and there is music that goes along with it. The songs are the verses from the lessons set to music. Shorter versions for younger kids and longer for older. I know the authors, and I've taught the material. It's GREAT for kids. I don't listen to any pastors that focus on one specific area of teaching, but there are a few resources that are more focused that I like. Girl Talk blog is one of my favorites, John Piper's sermons and articles on parenting are really good, and the Parenthood Core Seminar material from Capitol Hill Baptist Church. Our pastors have 4 grown children all loving God &amp; serving in the church, never having that "I hate you.." rebellious stage we see so many teens have (not to mention most young adults LEAVE the church upon graduating) so I know that "it" can be done.... We look to them and we have a handful of pastors that we really like their stuff.</p> <p>Joe Mcgee is one that we absolutely LOVE! He is so sound in his teaching &amp; his knowledge of the Word is amazing! He's absolutely hilarious as well so it's always fun to hear him. His "Biblical Parenting 101" DVD series is something that we frequently watch (probably 3-4 times a year) and I tell you I am STILL learning stuff from it 4 years later!
