You buy the regular green garland at Michaels using their 20% off coupon...but buy enough so you can double it so it's extra full/thick looking. Then buy a bunch of small floral decorations (they are on sale for the holidays) and just stick them in randomly. Mine are just nestled in and I take them off and store in a large container with the stripped down garland and redecorate every year. I bought some long floral decor and just dissembled it to smaller pieces. You can just decorate with ornaments too. I like being able to change it up every year.
