It arrived anyway. :) Gift card for my favorite grocery store. Finally got pregnancy-safe cleaner. Woohoo! I can have a clean bathtub again!

I wouldn't say anything. Maybe by then they'll ask if you got the gift? Or if your mom does mention it again and it hasn't arrived maybe you can mention it to her and she'll tell them?

I would also wait. If she doesn't hear from you she'll probably call you to see if you got the gift.

You dont know when they shipped it out to you so I would just wait and see, a lot of xmas cards and gifts can get delayed. You should only mention it if they ask you about it.

I'm in an odd situation. My brother and I don't normally exchange presents, but I do send gifts for their son. His wife told my mom that they bought me a Christmas present this year, and my mom told me that I'd be getting it either through e-mail or snail mail. It hasn't gotten here yet.

If it doesn't arrive by, say, January 2, do I mention it? If SIL had told me directly to expect something, I'd let her know, but since I heard about it second-hand, I'm confused. I know that if I sent someone a gift, I'd want to know it arrived, and I tend to call and ask if it's past the expected shipping date.
