He put them up around the window (up and on the curtain rod) At first, I thought it would affect their sleep but so far they have had them for a few days now and sleep is fairly the same. It acts like a night light, too.</p> <p>DS loves the ceiling light in our kitchen and loves looking at the Christmas tree, so he is always looking at them in the nursery. MIL mentioned he can be calmed down if we lay him in his crib. I guess looking at the lights distracts him. </p> <p>DD is faced the other way in her RnP so she just sees the light reflecting off the wall.</p> <p>Would you consider putting Christmas lights in your LO's room? </p>
