I got a wooden school bus with peg people, and I'm painting the people to look like Disney princesses. It's turning out soooo cute.</p> <p>I gave myself a budget of $100. We don't buy her anything throughout the year, so it's going to be kind of hard to stick to it. All her toys are baby toys and she is quickly outgrowing them! She has enough hand-me-down clothes to last her through 2T so I don't have to worry about that at least.</p> <p>Grandparents have already started asking, so I compiled a list of everything I thought might be fun for her to have - I'll let them decide what they want to get her. I had not heard of the want need wear read thing but I like it! We were planning on getting an anywhere chair or something similar. I dont really want to get much because I dont really think kids need a lot of toys. But we will probably get her a wooden toy/ puzzles and a book. I have already told my parents to keep it to 1 or 2 gifts and nothing battery operated,lol. Just adding stuff as I see it. Mostly H&amp;M clothes and some toys. I think we're (DH &amp; I) are going to get an unfinished wooden toy set, or something, and paint it for LO. We want to do something special like that, anyway. Handmade, or at least hand-finished. We're doing the same (want, need, wear, read); although DH keeps trying to convince me that the want, need, &amp; wear should all be boxes of diapers. Sigh.
