I have a spot in my back that often 'pops' out of place, and it was absolutely awful during pregnancy. I saw a chiropractor for awhile, and massage helps sometimes. He should get checked out - it could be something fixable!

Well, i had something in my back that made it so that i was literally unable to bend over without searing pain. I had herniated a disc and partially herniated a couple others near it. It took a few months to have less pain and now i'm about 6 months out and it's much much better. Anyways, i had an MRI and it showed bulging discs and i was like....damn, i should've had this looked at earlier. Of course it's all jacked up. I ended up with a lot of stim from the chiropractor, tractioning, and muscle relaxers, and was unable to bend over for about a month (which was tough with the baby in the crib). I even made an appt with an orthopedist to get a cortizone shot, but it magically got better about 5 days before that appointment.

Anyone else have chronic back spasm that renders you virtually useless? And it is always in the same spot?

If you have gone to a doctor for it what doctor did you see and what was the solution?

DH has a spot that has been bothering him for a very long time. He can reach over to get LO from from the car seat and that muscle will get pulled. And he will be in excruciating pain for days. He can reach for a plate the wrong way and the same same thing happens.

He's a very fit person that exercises, eats right and does core strengthening exercises. I am trying to get him to see the doctor about this because there must be an underlying issue.

Curious if other bees have insight.
