I responded to you already on it, but I basically think it's no big deal. they treat it "just in case" it might affect implantation but it probably doesn't matter, they just want to give you maximum odds. The diagnosis was based on the pathology report that came back from when I had some polyps removed.</p> <p>@septca: Thanks. I know there's lots of info about endometriosis, but this is different. Luckily, I think it's supposed to clear up with a week of antibiotics. I feel much better after talking to my doctor yesterday. It was hard to understand him when he first called to tell me about this. Had it?</p> <p>My doctor just called yesterday to put me on antibiotics for it. I had some polyps removed last month, and I think that pathology report came back with this diagnosis. We're in our first IVF cycle about a week away from egg retrieval. I'm having a hard time finding consistent info on what might have caused it, especially what the "chronic" part means and how it might affect this cycle.</p> <p>Hoping to hear some stories of "it worked out ok!" </p>
