@ladybee: I'm glad it came back normal! Not fun that you don't really have an explanation, though. Hopefully the meds help!

@ladybee: I'm glad your blood work came back normal! I sometimes have pain in my wrist and knee joints, but it goes away after awhile. Maybe it's the weather?

Results are back. My blood work came back normal so I am taking an anti inflammatory med and hopefully that clears it up.

@PermaStudent: sadly, it is worse in the morning and I have been fighting fatigue lately. There isn't any swelling or redness. I guess Ill find out soon enough. I was put on anti-inflammatory meds to see if that helps.

@ladybee: Definitely a good step :) Let me know if you need any info on anti-inflammatory foods, or supplements that could help. My naturopath had me on some heavy duty stuff in hopes of getting pregnant last summer.

@ladybee: Hmm. I really hope you get some good news! It does sound RA-like, but there are generally other symptoms like fatigue and swelling/redness/warmth around joints, worse in the morning, etc. I'm sorry you are in so much pain! :(

@Mrs.Someone: DH and I just switched to non processed foods in hopes to clean up our health. A naturopath is a great idea.

@PermaStudent: I've always had chronic back pain, scoliosis, and have needed manipulations. My doctor said he was concerned about an autoimmune disorder but there isn't a history in my family.

As hard as it is to do, a gluten-free diet can do wonders for inflammation issues. I'd suggest going to a naturopath for a consultation to see what they would suggest.

Any autoimmune disorders in your family? Are your joints red and swollen, or just painful? Is the pain worse in the morning or pretty consistent through the day? Did your doctor have any guesses? Sorry for all the questions!

@kjpugs: I'm worried about arthritis as well. My activity level is the same as it's always been. If anything I've improved my diet lately. I don't know how I'm supposed to lose weight and exercise if I'm always in pain.

I know my joints haven't felt the same since having E, but my issues are more the same ones I had during pregnancy (hips/back type stuff) so it hurts to be on my feet, or walk/get up. I also have had a lot of joint pain increasing in my fingers/toes so I'm a little nervous it may be something like arthritis. But I don't know if the two are related. Mine may just be that I'm not active like I was before getting pregnant.

How has your activity level been since? Have you had any changes besides being pregnant (like diet, lifestyle, etc?)

For the last month or so I have had joint pain that comes and goes. It's progressively gotten worse. It is in every joint (hands, elbows, knees, ankles, etc.) It's really getting in the way of my life. I tried working out this morning (30DS) and my knees are killing me. Sadly, I didn't make it far in.

Anyone else have this issue? Could it be related to having a baby (he's 8 months old)? My doctor ran a bunch of blood tests yesterday. I should get results today or tomorrow but I am not even sure what he could be looking for.

Just a vent I guess...
