Though I guess two kids is harder on a bike(s). That's what we do right now, DH has always done dropoff and pickup. When I bike to daycare, I do drop off (and leave the seat/helmet there, then bike to work. You could easily bike two miles and then to the train station. Thankfully DH has a flexible schedule, so he's responsible for the lion share of dropoff and pickups. We are lucky in that there were two daycares along my walking route to work so we just applied to both and ended up at one. My husband will most likely be driving to work when he starts (train doesn't go there.) </p> <p>Our two kids will be going to a daycare about 2 miles away - definitely not walkable and no close train stop.</p> <p>I'm thinking we're going to have to move them because... How am I supposed to help at all if I can't get to them? There are very limited options walking distance but I'm praying we can find a spot. Otherwise I don't see how we can make it work. </p> <p>What do you do?? </p>
