I don't think it's early if you have an idea what you want. The nice thing about having UBV or CS early is you can skip the snap n go and just use the carseat adapter.

I got the UBV when DD was a few weeks old. She hated being in her carseat, so I wanted (needed) a stroller with a bassinet. I also planned on having two kids back to back, but we are having secondary IF issues, so...

The other nice thing about going w UB is their customer service is phenomenal. It's so great we are an all-UB family (we have a the gluxe too). Baby Jogger I have no experience with.

thanks everyone for the responses. I think I need to "test drive" both. I did find out that the UB factory store is about 45 minutes away and they sell the vista for $400 (bassinet is another $75).
my husband thinks I am nuts for already researching and test driving strollers, but I think it's fun! is 15 weeks too early for me to be doing this?

I was sold on the CS until we test drove the CS and UBV. The CS felt soo long to me and difficult to maneuver. We would like our kids close together, but who knows if that will actually happen. So although the CS is better as a "true double", I decided it's better to not compromise on a single stroller now with the idea of wanting a good double down the line. Plus I don't think the rumble seat seems that bad, the lady at the store told me that once the smaller child is 6 months old, he can go in the rumble seat and you can put your old child in the bigger seat.

@Mrs. Markers: I'm glad you said that! I found the CS much easier to close than the UBV too...

We got the city select (we were between the UBV and Bugaboo Chameleon) ultimately because it was the easiest to close - and it latches so you can carry it easily. Also, adding the 2nd seat was a big pro for us, as we hope to have our little ones close together. Also, the tires are air-filled which makes for a smooth ride! UBV does not have air-filled tires.

I've never tried the city select but we have an UBV and although LO isn't here yet, I'm obsessed with it! It feels like a sports car that just drives smoothly and has a tiny turning radius. I don't find it hard to open and close at all.

We chose the UBV over the Britax and City Select because we felt it was easier to maneuver. LO isn't here for another 22 days, but we've taken it on test drive walks and love it! Lol

I know this will not help your decision between the two but we chose the Britax B-Ready for the same reasons as @prettylizy. I didn't like the second seat configurations for UBV and thought the City Select seemed a little awkward (though in hindsight, I do like that the two toddler seat configuration in CS allows both kids a clear front view). I have not used my B-Ready in doubles configuration yet but am excited to when that time comes around!

I went for the UBV after test driving both in a store. To me, the CS was bulkier and harder to maneuver than the UBV. Closing it was also very difficult for me. Even in the store, I couldn't get it to close once. It was heavier and I already have injuries that make me concerned about the overall weight, so I went with the UBV. I did like the CS for the options for 2 if we have them close in age, but DH didn't think we should worry about that yet.

We registered for the City Select, but since LO isn't here yet (and neither is the stroller), I have nothing else useful to add!

We love our UBV. I did see the City Select AFTER purchasing my UBV and kind of kicked myself, but I'm glad we stuck with the UBV because we love it. Just came back from an afternoon out at the outlet mall with it. We have both the rumble seat and piggyback board and Wagon Jr. loves being able to choose between the two.

I have the UBV and love it. My boss had the City and she bitched all the time about how she was always fighting with it, so I never really considered it after hearing how much difficulty it gave her.

I went with the Britax B-Ready over the City Select and UBV. It won out over UBV because of the reasons @Hilsy mentioned. I want the freedom to put whichever child I want wherever I want so the configurations were a big winner in that dept. The CS got the boot for 2 reasons, I preferred the Britax bassinet, and I liked that Britax had theyr own brand of very highly rated carseats so I didn't need to mess with adaptors or anything like that.

I was choosing between those two and went for the vista. I thought the city select was much more awkward to maneuver and to open/close. Pretty much everyone I've talked to who has the Vista loves it. But one of our cousins has the city select and she doesn't love it, and her husband hates it. She told me to go with the Vista because all her friends who have it love it too.

The main reason I would go for the city select over the vista is if I was plannig on having 2 kids close in age. The city select can be a true double stroller, whereas the vista has the rumble seat which isn't really equivalent. That being said, I have the vista and love it.

I thought I was sold on the uppababy vista but then I came across the city select. Now my mind is spinning. Luckily, baby is not due until July, so I have some time to decide. I thought I'd start my research early since it takes me forever to make a decision. We live in a city but use our cars frequently. I anticipate we will be walking to stores/restaurants since it will be the summer. Please share your thoughts on these strollers
