(There are studies on this). So I just lather some tea tree castille soap on my hands, lightly rub onto my face, and splash off with water. The key to the breakout issue for me was to make sure I unscrewed the head and rinsed out the unit and the brush really well in the shower after each use. It lasted 3 1/2 years, which didn't seem long to me, but the warranty is only for 2 years. I'm trying to decide if I should replace it, get something different, or just use my hands (for free!) Any recommendations?</p> <p>I use Cetaphil or CeraVe cleansers, and wash my face in the shower. I use a wet "makeup remover cloth" (soft washcloth) on nights when I don't shower. </p>
