Ironically enough Henry grew on DH a ton and it's on our short list. </p> <p>Our working list is now:</p> <p>John (Jack) - DH thinks John is too plain, but loves Jack. I tend to agree with him, but love that there are so many strong Johns in my life.</p> <p>Andrew - I got over the fact that I had a really bad boss with the same name. We also love that it's a strong Saint's name (we're both religious).</p> <p>Henry - hooray for DH changing his mind on this one. Neither of us are sold on Hank, but we don't think this will be as common or obvious of a nickname than say shortening Thomas to Tommy.</p> <p>Calvin - our hang up with this one is that our last name ends in "in" too. But we love the nickname Cal. </p> <p>Asher - this one was added last night. I feel like it's becoming really trendy, but both DH and I like it which is unusual. They're the names of DH (who doesn't want a junior), our brothers, and nephews! I also loved Andrew, but then had a horrible boss named Andrew.
