There was no "spot cleaning". I wiped the straps well with a wet wash cloth and they were ok. One thing that sucked was it was super humid and it took forever to hang dry the seat. Major PITA and none of the spots came out. I haven't done it since. I just used water on the straps because I was afraid to do anything else.<br /> I took the entire seat cover off and put it in the washing machine on gentle. Hang dried for a day or so. Went back on no problems and washed up super nicely. </p> <p>Ours was a yogurt barf...so...yeah. Those are pretty different! It also said hang dry (this is fine) and that you could use warm water and mild soap to wipe down straps. I was always under the impression water only and barely damp.</p> <p>Has anyone deep cleaned one of these suckers? It's a gross, discarded food mess! </p>
