I try to keep the main area (living room) pretty picked up and my office picked up since Em's crib is in there. H's room is usually tidied up by DH, as is the kitchen. The dining room and our room hold the most mess and clutter - one because the door is always shut and the other because of the large table. It sucks but I'm a SAHM and it dosent take that long. When you don't have to get the vacuum cleaner out of the cupboard and plug it in its just so easy. I walk past it hanging there and think "ooh" and nip it round quickly! I clean the wood floors with floor wipes (I swish them about on the bottom of my shoe!) because its so much easier than getting the mop out - I can do that daily too and its a 30 second job!</p> <p>I try to do a proper clean of the house once a week but I don't always succeed. We have a dog, which makes me feel like I need to clean it often. I cant stand hair everywhere! We have hardwood floors, and I have tried all types of cleaning agents but nothing helps! My husband thinks that I am OCD- which may indeed be the case. </p>
