Then we set a firm rule that if they left their toys out, they would lose them. Once a week I give it some extra time by myself just to get things extra organized. I agree that limiting the number of toys available is the best way to keep it easier. I clean her room and the living room several times a day. I cant go downstairs without tidying her room first. Then I cant leave the house without tidying the living room. She cant nap on an untidy room and we cant eat dinner with toys strewn everywhere. We clean more now that she is here because it feels like if we don't stay on top of it, it will multiply and crush us like those people on hoarders. We run around and clean up all the toys every night at bedtime (whoever isn't putting LO to bed cleans).
