@MrsADS: YAY solid smiley!! :) I am on day six of flashing smileys. I think Clomid is throwing it off. Last month, I had 2-3 days of flashing and then the solid. I think I'll switch back to regular CBE next time, unless this cycle is the one for us! :) I just want to assume I'll be like @ChiBee: and that 7 days of flashing means getting pregnant this month, hahahaha.

I also splurged and tried the advanced this month. I had days of flashing smileys before I got the regular smiley. I didn't think it helped me much since I knew when I had EWCM that I should be bd'ing. I don't think it's weird that you had multiple days of flashing smileys. I think it's just different for everyone.

I think this is another matter where every woman is different - if your surge is a longer length or you release more hormones, it'll show a flashing smiley for a longer amount of time.

I wasn't impressed with this one, it never gave me flashing smileys. It was blank faces and then BOOM- solid smiley:)

I used the fancy one on a cycle where we weren't ttc just to make sure all was working. This month when we actually ttc, I just used the good ol normal CBE smileys and they worked great and we were blessed with a pregnancy.

I may have a short surge though, so the problem could actually be me and not them.

No help just yet. I bought the same thing for my upcoming cycle.

I used this http://www.countdowntopregnancy.com/tools/intercourse_timing_calculator.php to help determine good times to BD. Given you have CM I would BD.

So, I splurged and this cycle I am trying the Clearblue advanced OPK for the first time. Looks like you are supposed to get 2 days of flashing smileys when it's "high" fertility (leading up to O), and then 2 days of solid smileys for O.

Well, I got 2 days of flashing smileys, so today I expected to get the solid smiley... but I got ANOTHER flashing smiley! 3 days in a row.

Did this happen to anyone else? I tested using FMU. Did I miss my surge? What's going on?

I am also tracking BBT - my temp has not spiked. But I have had lots of egg-white mucus (tmi) for the past 2 days or so.
