@jetsa: Thanks! :happy:
@MrsHansen82: With my first lo I did that too...kept watching to make sure the line got darker - at least until 6 weeks I think.
I think it was worse for me with this because a) these weren't out when I got pregnant last time and b) I know it measures your hCG level and that's supposed to double every 2 days, so not reaching the next level would indicate an issue with the progression of the pregnancy. Sometimes too much information creates other problems.

@marionberry: I never took a digital, but scrutinized the darkness of the pink line just like this. It was a point of so much anxiety and worry for me. I wish I would have just stopped after the first one.

@Anya: I did! Here are some screen shots. Mine were show to climb on the digital too, though I would get a beta done if you're feeling nervous.

The weeks estimator number is based off of when you ovulated, not your LMP. SO, if you ovulated at day 14 (hypothetically) and you are five weeks and some change, that would put you in the 2-3 range.

Here's a video that explains it well.

Those digital tests can be really unreliable!! Particularly considering your hydration/urine dilution levels, etc. I wouldn't stress about it too much at all.

I can't remember exactly what happened, but I took one earlier in my pregnancy and it hadn't moved me up a level either (It might have even regressed?? I honestly can't remember, but I flipped out). Granted it was in the afternoon and I hadn't held my urine and had been drinking a lot of water, but it still made me panic. I am now almost 24 weeks and everything seems to be progressing normally (knock on wood! :) ).

All that to say, I wouldn't rely on those too much. There are too many variables that can change results, and I've heard a lot of people who have had issues with them!

In the event that anyone comes to this post in the future looking for answers I found their FDA study which says 3+ weeks isn't given until someone hits 2600 hCG. From my basic calculations it looks like that would happen 8-10 days after the 2-3 weeks reading if your hCG doubles every two days.

This gives me a little hope. I'm not going to freak out for a few more days.

@littlek: Ya it said 2-3 weeks again.
@spaniellove: I should've just stuck to the two line tests. I think I'm gonna call my OB in the next couple of days and ask for betas. Their office is horrible with labs but hopefully I can get them to do what I want. Being at the RE's office where they monitor everything was so much nicer than this waiting stuff.

No experience with the weeks estimator, but I hope baby Berry continues to grow and do well in there! I don't think HPTs are ever a good way to judge how a pregnancy is progressing and it can't hurt to ask your OB about betas if you want a definite answer.

@marionberry: did it still see 2 - 3 weeks? I wouldn't worry. Try again in few days and it should say 3+.

@Anya: Thank you! This makes me feel better. I'll have to see if I can find that chart!

Ya I have a feeling I'll continue to test for a few days and if in the next two days it doesn't go up I'll call.

There is a lot of overlap with those tests, so I wouldn't be too concerned. I think MrsPanda had a chart she posted that showed the hcg range for each level, and it was pretty wide. I had the same thing happen and when I googled it, there were a ton of people who had the same thing happen but had normal pregnancies.

ETA: but I would still call the doctor if you're concerned and it hasn't gone up after another week

I am about 5w2d under my calculations. A week ago I took one of those CB tests with weeks estimators and it said 2-3 weeks. Today I expected it to say 3 weeks + given it had been a week but it didn't. Now I'm freaking out that my hCG isn't doubling.

Just looking to see if anyone has any experience with this and if you found them to be accurate? I may have to call my OB and ask for an hCG if tomorrow's test still doesn't go up, just to alleviate anxiety or find out the bad news.
