@birdofafeather: it's a good seat for sharing for sure! Ours will even make it to our third, and that's 5 years off! Our infant bucket will expire soon, so....meh.

@blackbird: i rounded down since i bet a lot of people don't have their kiddos in car seats for 9 years and my kid is a giant, so she'll definitely be grown out of the height limit by then!. :P

BUT! i did tell my in laws and mom to get a fllo because they drive our kiddo from time and to time and even though we're the only ones with a kid now, they can use it with any subsequent grandkids for the next 9 years! so a good option if they want to be able to fit a newbie in their seats!

@birdofafeather: 9 years if you had a teeny tiny kid LOL. They have such long expiration dates!

i like the infant seat portability too much! but it's a great addition for people going straight to a convertible as a newborn. you'd be able to use the car seat for the same child for 6 years!

@agold: No, but only b/c we already had one with E and we only have 3 months left before I transfer T to a regular convertible seat. No point spending $70 more bucks. We never used the bucket style infant seat as much as some people did, since it's too awkward and bad for my back. BUT...since the seats are good for 9 years, we could easily end up doing that in 5 yeas or so when we have another, and E and T are in boosters!

@blackbird: That's a great find! Will you skip out on the infant carseat then?

We're buying Foonfs for T soon and I stumbled across this:

http://clekinc.com/infant_thingy/

You can now buy an insert for $70 and stick it in the Clek convertible seats. Cuts down on cost if you plan on buying them after the infant stage!
