My midwife said it could be because the flow is a bit fast, so she took breaks. She just to spit some of my milk out at the same time. Thrush<br /> 2. Forceful letdown causing baby to unlatch</p> <p>ETA: I've seen my LC help women whose babies are clicking during feeds, and in their case it's been due to overactive letdown. She has them do reclined feeds and it generally eliminates the problem. But mine does it through out. Nursing is going ok but in the last few days she has started making a sucking or smacking kind of noise a lot while she is eating. I know that means she doesn't have a great latch and is breaking suction, so I keep trying to relatch and the same thing keeps happening. My nipples are getting sore, but not totally painful. I don't know what to do. Any advice? </p>
