DS is in one of those phases right now. Super clingy to me. If he sees me, he wants me. Doesn't matter who's holding him at the moment, he wants mommy. And if I put him down so I can take care of stuff - cue alligator tears.

@mrsjyw: my guess is it's because you went in vacation. M did the same thing to me for a week or so after we got back from Vegas. But she's chilled out now.

Xander is definitely in this phase. I don't usually do drop-offs, but have a couple times lately and he definitely has gotten really upset when I'm leaving. And then yesterday I had a dentist appointment, so I was still at home when Hubs was going to bring him to daycare and he just clung to me like his life depended on it! I felt so bad! :(

This week has been hard but I think that is due to the new school. They say that once I am gone she cries for less then a minute. But walking away is so hard.

My DS has never been a super mama's boy, extra cuddly, etc. But the last few mornings he's cried and clung onto me for dear life when I try to leave for work! :( He LOVES my mom and is fine once I'm gone, but it breaks my heart leaving for the office to see him like that even for a few minutes!! </3

I'm sure it's a phase and will pass quickly, but I think it's hit me harder because he's never been super attached to me over DH or my mom!

Does your LO go through phases where morning drop-offs are harder sometimes?
