I usually give her something to hold onto with her other hand that she doesn't get to hold usually (we have a plastic syringe from her newborn days when we syringe fed her formula/pumped breast milk to supplement her feedings)...and then I'll clip her other hand. It is a battle though. Sometimes I have put her on her changing pad and clipped her in so she can't wiggle away and give her something interesting to hold. I try to do it when they are relatively happy...usually right after they have fed, first thing after they get up in the morning.<br /> WORST. JOB. EVER. I find that if I fill a medicine dropper with water and give it to him in one hand while I clip the other signing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (for some reason it'd become the nail clipping song) he's pretty calm.
