Are you massaging the spot?! Rub it with the warm washcloth - especially in the shower and just nurse a ton

Do you mean a bleb? Like a white pore on the nipple that you can see is clogged? Ive never had to do it, but it was reccomeded to me that you could take a sterilized needle and lance it. Thinking about that makes me want to pass out...ugh. I'd ask your doc to do it since there is a risk of infection. My only other advice is what you are doing: try epsom salt soaks/heat prior to nursing. Try gently rubbing the nipple with a warm wet wash cloth in the shower.

I used an electric toothbrush to massage the spot. It was so painful but I would keep massaging, keep nursing/pumping, hot towel compresses and hot showers. And sunflower lecithin daily.

Sunflower lecithin, hot shower with massage, then pump that side at a HIGH setting (like, way higher than normal!) and massage very hard (you won't bruise, but you will think you might). It hurts so bad, but you need to get the clog out before mastitis sets in. Good luck!

My lactation consultant recommended sunflower lechithin until it cleared. I also took hot baths to soak it before nursing.

These were my steps and I never had one stick around longer than 24 hours:
1) Take lots of phytolaccta (can buy at sprouts)
2) Warm clogged area before nursing
3) Nurse every hour and massage duct toward the nipple while nursing
4) Ice pack on clogged duct after nursing

Other things to try:

- Stand in a hot shower and let the shower hot that part of your breast
- run a comb or brush through a bar of soap and use it to massage the area
- have baby nurse with their chin pointing towards the blockage
- depending on where the blockage is, you may be able to massage the area while you nurse

So I have a clogged milk pour, I have had baby nurse only on that side, pumped, heated washcloth, epsom salt and warm water... I even went to the OBGYN and he really didn't have much to say as he said it wasn't infected. BUT IT HURTS!!!!! Especially when I nurse. I have tried to peel off the skin and get the clog out, but ouch!

Does anyone have a way to get rid of this! The baby was able to get rid of one of them (I had two), but the big one just won't go away and its hurts like nobody's business! And now that side is really low producing when I pump. EKKK

Can anyone help a mama out?
