We never conceived with clomid for our first, ended up happening during a break. My midwives will only prescribe 50mg,l. The first time, I didn’t really respond much better in terms of a good size egg. The second time, I ate an avocado every day, and I had two great eggs! Unfortunately, I didn’t get pregnant, and they only do two cycles before sending you to the RE exclusively and I decided to take a break. But, I took it at night before bed, and again no side effects. It worked on the first cycle both times, and I didn’t have side effects. DH’s SA was normal. My HSG showed clear tubes. My cycles were on the shorter side around 22-24 days and LP about 9-11 days. We were successful on our second round of Clomid, 50 mg, days 3-7. No noticeable side effects. It did lengthen my cycle on the unsuccessful cycle to 29 days. That’s all I can remember!
