I have been known to have a roller coaster of emotions in general, so I was concerned about going totally crazy on Clomid. I was also traveling while I started it, and I'm a super anxious traveler, which I was afraid would make everything even worse. But I didn't notice any side effects at all. I'm currently CD16 and I *think* 1DPO. </p> <p>I have a good friend who conceived on her first cycle of 50 mg Clomid, and she had no side effects. I've adopted her as my fertility god :silly: For me, the anticipation of how I would feel on the Clomid was much worse than the actual drug. I'd end up sleeping naked on top of the sheets and was still hot. All of these things only lasted a few days each month, though. But I hated Clomid! My most frequent side effect was that I was VERY emotional. I would cry at almost anything. I also had hot flashes, especially at night, and breast tenderness. I took it CD 3-7. Days 3-5 were painless.<br /> When I was just on 50, it had zero side effects (well DH said I was hotter to the touch).<br /> Oh and my first cycle on 100mg wasn't as bad as the 2nd. It was at the end of my crazy 140 day cycle and it seemed to work (I saw a clear temp rise on my chart and then got my period 10 days later). I know medications vary for everything (I had no effects from progesterone), but what can I/DH expect from Clomid? I want to prepare for the worst but hope for the best... </p>
