@JennyPenny I was actually just reading up on testosterone today since my MIL has been sending us "tips" every since DH told his parents about our issues. Who knew that t meds actually can reduce counts?

@Macintosh Wow, that's awesome! Good luck next month! My DH's urologist never suggested Clomid for him. He did suggest Fertility Blend which has not helped in the slightest. :(

My DH took Clomid for his VERY low count and low testosterone. It did work to boost his testosterone level, but when he repeated his SA 3 months later it had not helped his count. It also made him really irritable, but he does have a prexisting brain injury.

He ended up having a Micro-TESE surgery and he continued taking clomid until then. His urologist said it could still help give him the best chance for success. There's no way to know it the Clomid helped his sperm production, but they did find 6 vials of sperm in his right testicle. We're doing IVF next month :)

My DH took it for low Testosterone, not infertility, but they switched him to it instead of his other low-T med when we mentioned we were TTC. Apparently the traditional low T meds reduce sperm count whereas Clomid helps. We never had a SA before or after though so I don't know what the impact was, but our LO is due in a few weeks so it didn't hurt anything...

@Warbler: I don't have any experience with this but I do know that some RE's use it for men as it is supposed to help with low count. I think there are one or two bees that have SO's who have used Clomid, hopefully they will chime in

Just curious, has anyone's DH taken Clomid for male factor infertility? Or know of you any males who have? I'd be pretty interested to hear about any experiences since I thought that drug was just for us ladies.
