I ovulate on different days every other month (so Sept was like July, expecting October to be like August, etc). For you, though, it seems a little less useful. Since you'll soon hit your six cycle limit, I'd personally push for more monitoring, and an increased dose. I seem to have ovulated every other month which is wierd, not sure if its just a coincidence though! I'm not sure if to move to 100mg or try something else if maybe my lining is thin. My doctor is more conservative, I believe, and does an ultrasound to check for follicles and to measure my lining. I don't ovulate alone, but have no other symptoms. My BMI is 19.5.<br /> I'm working with a GYN but he works for the fertility clinic in the hospital. Are you in the UK or US? I only had Day 21 bloods in the first cycle. They said there was no need after that!! I'm assuming you were if you knew you didn't ovulate the last two times. Clomid thinned my lining out, so I wonder if that has happened to you and that might explain why your periods are light.</p> <p>After not doing well on Clomid, my doctor suggested Femara/letrozole. It functions like Clomid. Thanks.<br /> I've just completed 4 rounds of clomid at 50mg. I ovulated month 1 and 3 but not 2 and 4. I wondered if anyone else has had this pattern before?<br /> I'm due to go back to hospital in 2 weeks and just wanted some advice as to what to push for next. I'm worried he will just leave me at 50mg but I feel like its not really working.
