I guess Clomid was under the list of meds covered and Femera was not. I know Clomid for me was $5 for 5 pills. I forget what the Femera was, I think $25 for 5 pills.</p> <p>It's all RE preference. I heard Clomid has a higher chance of conceiving multiples. My first clinic's protocol was to go with Femera. I was very cranky (could also have been attributed to jet lag), and had headaches and was pretty light headed a good portion of the day. I also felt like crying a lot. I remember one Saturday where I sat at home and cried almost all day long. DH was beside himself trying to make me feel better, but I just couldn't. I had taken Femera in the past but my new RE wanted me to do a Clomid challenge to see how my body reacted on meds. With the dizziness, I told my RE that I didn't like it and that I preferred Femera and he said that was fine. I did not like the Clomid side effects at all.</p> <p>I had the dizziness feeling while taking the meds. I believe it went away when I stopped taking it.
