@mrs bunchy: That's super high.. are you on a medicated cycle? My test results were above a 10 which my doctor said was good for an unmedicated cycle.

I always O'd, but my doc had me try Clomid too for the same reason, for it to be "stronger." It shortened my cycle (from 31 to 28), but we didn't get pg.

for #1 I ovulated but infrequently and clomid helped that be more regular. my personal theory is that upping it to 100mg finally gave me enough of a boost for a sticky baby after 2 CPs on 50mg. it definitely increases your hormone levels, so hopefully it will work for you.

this time around I was ovulating with 33-ish day cycles before TTC, so fairly normal. but after another CP the RE recommended clomid again as it may help get the hormones where they need to be.

@littlek: hi!! I have always gotten a :bfp: on opks. I am in the same boat as you- dr thinks I ovulate but not strong enough which caused a m/c in March. I too get my blood drawn Saturday. Let me know your results !!! Good luck !!

Occasionally but my body would just gear up to ovulate and then not do it. Thanks, body.

I got positive OPKs and an obvious temp rise, but my progesterone was low, so the thinking was the Clomid would help with the progesterone (by making my ovulation stronger). It didn't work for me, although it did increase my short LP by a couple days.

Before Clomid I did get a few positive OPKs, but no temp rise, so my body was only gearing up to O and then never did. On 100mg of Clomid I would definitely get +OPKs and ovulate.

I hope your blood test this weekend goes well!

One cycle with clomid I got 5+ positive OPKs in a row. The other time I got a positive OPK but I'm not sure if I O'd right after it or a while later (like it was a false positive). In short, OPKs were never very helpful for me lol.

I did but stopped after my first m/c, which is why i went on clomid. i would get almost positive results on my OPKs and my progesterone values were coming in at like, 11, and my dr wanted at least a 15 to confirm ovulation.

I'm going in for blood work saturday to confirm ovulation. When I have used OPK's I have always gotten a very positive OPK and the few times I temp'd, I had temp increase after O. Just curious for those on clomid, did you ever get positive OPKs prior to clomid? My doctor thinks I'm ovulating but not "strong" enough..
