@looch: Yeah I see some on amazon and at bed bath and beyond but the reviews are mixed. They have a three pack of LED stick on lights for under $6.75 so I may give that a try

In our master closet, we have a hard wired light fixture. The rest of the closets are unlit and even though we added ceiling lights to all the bedrooms, we opted NOT to run the wires to the closets because of the code restrictions on height of the shelving. So, I am on a similar search. I was thinking of tap lights or something.

@Foodnerd81: Thanks! Yeah it is annoying not having a light in there! I see some stick on LED lights on amazon so I may give those a try

We have a regular lightbulb and light switch in our current closet and the one in my last apartment. Growing up, I had a walk in closet with no light source and it was really annoying! We got a stick on LED thing but it never really worked well-- though I bet they have much better ones now.

What kind of lighting do you have in your closet? In our old apartment we had a light built in and with a pull chain. In our new place there are no lights at all. I saw some nice battery operated LED lights at Ikea but there were out of stock. I dont want anything with wires..
