I dint mind doing the laundry, and since we have prefolds it's not a big deal if I don't get to folding them right away. But I HATE poopy diapers. And my kid can make some nasty ones.

Neutral? It has been in my laundry routine for over 3.5 yrs! The only part I dislike is stuffing pocket diapers.

I didn't mknd it when she was an infant and I was more in the habit of doing them every few days. As she transitioned to panties and wore diapers less and less I started to hate it.

We started with cloth about 2 weeks ago with baby girl and today we just started CDing baby boy. We are doing prefolds during the day and newborn AIO at night. I had to do CD laundry last night and only had to rinse 3 poopy diapers. So so far, not too bad. Not as hard as I thought it would be. (We were originally going to go with a CD service but laundry wasn't too bad before we started doing CD.) Ask me next week when we are CDing both babies.
When the babies grow out of the newborn cloth, I'll be using pocket diapers during the day and AIO at night. I would think going from prefolds to pocket that it might be easier to adapt.

love it or hate it? I used to not mind it, but now I noticed the basket tends to sit with the diapers not stuffed for a good day or two. It's a great feeling when they are all together and put away, but it can be so daunting at times!
