I have this problem too, and basically I've come to the conclusion that if she eats more than once at night I'm going to have to change her. My LO is now 5.5 months and we went through a hellacious growth spurt where she was eating three times at night. Now she is back to eating just once most nights, thank God!!!

I thought disposables were the magic answer--well, she leaked in those too! Granted they weren't overnights, just regular ones.

We had to switch to hybrid fitteds and wool. I wasn't a fitted fan with my first, but it was essential with my second. HUGE difference and during the day we went coverless.

I tried a freetime with a hemp on my 2 year old and she SOAKED the bed!

The only thing that has worked is a Kawaii GNHW with one of the included microfiber inserts on top of a thirsties hemp. However the legs are too tight even on the loosest settings so I've been doing pampers at night :(

Ha - maybe LO is just a pee monster! I think it's because she nurses so much at night. Which would improve my quality of life if we fixed that! There is definitely no inner part sticking out, and when she leaks both the inserts are soaked to the core. It's always up her back though so I don't know if that means anything - I keep the doubled over part of the MF insert in the back to help. I wonder if I used bamboo on top of the hemp instead of MF? Anyone know anything about that?

My favorite diapers for overnight are Rumparooz pockets! We've been using them for about six months now and she's never leaked out of them. I have a BG 4.0 that we use too, and with that one I use both the newborn and the regular insert with no problems. Sometimes I add a hemp insert too, but they are pretty thin. Have you made sure that there's no inner part of the diaper sticking out?

My nearly 2 year old has a Freetime with a thirsties stuffed in and that's it! Your LO is peeing a ton! Although sometimes if she's sleeping funny, one side of her butt will get wet. But she doesn't seem phased

Okay folks - for those of you who CD at nighttime, what is your magic recipe?

LO is 4 mo and still is up every 2-3 hrs (ugh) nursing so she pees a fair share overnight, but we only change her for poop (which she usually waits until morning, except today at 5:20am, the little stinker!). I thought we had figured out a good overnight solution but lately she's been leaking up her back (seems like a compression issue?) if she's in the diapers for >10-12 hrs. The inserts are fully soaked at that point so I don't think there is any diaper malfunction.

We use BG 4.0s, and have been using the regular MF insert with a Thirsties hemp insert underneath, which had been working great for a while. I thought about sticking another hemp insert in there but I don't think her dipes would fit well then so overstuffed! She's a chunk, but the MF + hemp seems to be the max fluff she can do until they don't fit well on her legs.
