We use flip diapers and I wash about every 2.5 days usually in the evening after bedtime so they are ready to go the next morning. Everything goes into a planet wise diaper liner in our diaper pail then at laundry time I do a cold rinse, then a hot wash with tide original, and another cold rinse. Hang the covers to dry and throw then flip inserts in the dryer. We have hemp inserts to add to her overnight 4.0 diapers.

I wash every other day in the evenings. I do a cold wash with no detergent, then a hot wash with tide original powder with an extra rinse. Then if I remember all the steps and can hang them to dry on a drying rack overnight, I hang the pockets and dry the inserts in the dryer. If I forget a step and don't get them washed before my bedtime I put them in the dryer in the morning. This has been our routine for 2.5 years...never had any issues, and I have never needed to do any stripping.

We just started cloth diapers 2 days ago, so I'm still getting my bearings. I also follow fluff love and my wash routine was approved by an admin. I use Biokleen powder detergent, so I have to use more than recommended bc it's plant based. I also use borax bc we have hard water. For the prewash, I do the speed wash setting on hot with 1x detergent and then the Main cycle is the heavy whites setting with an extra spin on hot with 1.5-2x detergent and 1/2 cup borax. I dry all the diapers on low/med. I have AIOs and BG 4.0s.

I do all of our laundry (I don't mind laundry, and my husband is bad about following laundry routines), so diaper laundry is my task. I do diaper laundry every 3rd day, on occasion every other day. We use covers, prefolds, and aios. I hate pockets.

I use arm and hammer free and clear. It's what I use for everything, and we haven't had any stink or absorbency issues 4 months in. I do a short wash on cold, with no detergent, then a hot wash with detergent. I hang dry covers and aios, and dry prefolds in the dryer so they're not crunchy. It's been damp and cold here lately, so I've been throwing my aios in the dryer on low heat for a few minutes to help them dry.

Mostly posting to follow along, we have sticky diapers and I need to mix up or routine.

Currently we have mostly BG 4.0 pockets and prefolds. Wash cold with half severing of bun genius detergent and service wash hot with a full cap. Dry inserts and prefolds and hung dry all covers.

We use BG Freetimes exclusively. I loathe stuffing/unstuffing and I don't know if we would have stuck with CDing if it weren't for the glorious existence of AIOs.

LO is 8.5 months. We wash diapers whenever her pail gets full, so about every 2-3 days I guess. DH probably does 60% of the diaper work, I do about 40%.

Routine:
-Pee diapers go straight into the pail.
-Poop diapers we use the diaper sprayer and then toss them into the pail. We have the BumGenius sprayer and it is amazing.
-When we wash, we toss the whole wet bag liner full of diapers into our HE frontloader machine and do a cycle with no detergent on Warm/Warm. Then a cycle with Country Save detergent on Hot/Cold. Then hang to dry.
-Daycare: DH takes in ~5 diapers every day and takes the dirty ones home every evening. Pee ones go straight into our pail, poop ones are wrapped in a plastic bag and we spray them and then toss them into the pail.
-Nighttime: We add a hemp insert to a regular Freetime diaper.
-If she gets a diaper rash (rare): We switch to disposables for a day or so, and use Butt Paste. Works like a charm.

Easy breezy.

I use tide original. I tried a few other cloth diaper soaps (rock n green and Charlie's) but got stinky diapers so I went back to tide. I mostly use bum genius free times, with a few prefolds and a few random other AIOs. Pre-rinse cold, then wash on hot with a quarter scoop of tide. I hang dry the AIOs and the diaper covers and put the prefolds, wet bag and wipes in the dryer. LO 1 is 2 and DH has washed the diapers maybe once or twice ever.

I wash them when the pail gets full, every 1-2 days depending.

Right now, we are still using BG newborn diapers and DH and I will both do CD laundry.

I follow Fluff Love on FB so my wash routine is based off their recommendations.

I checked my water and found out it was hard so I had to strip all my diapers about 2 weeks ago.

Now, my routine is...
A) Separate poopy from pee diapers.
B) Spray poopy diapers & Close velcro laundry tabs

1) Pre-wash: 1/2 cap of Kirkland Ultra free & clear with warm water and 'Normal' setting on my washer.
2) Main wash: 1.5 caps of Kirkland Ultra F&C + 1/2 cup of Borax. Wash on warm and on 'Super' setting of my washer. Add enough clothes to allow enough stew and agitation.
My wash routine was approved by a FL admin.
3) Dry: Inserts & covers are dried on the gentle/delicate (low heat) of the dryer and I hang dry all AIOs. If we are running out of diapers, I'll dry AIOs.

*I have a non- HE washer

I just prepped my one sized pocket and AIOs. I did find stuffing the diapers kinda annoying and I guess I'll see how DH does with stuffing. I have a feeling he will hate stuffing them and I'll end up having the stuff them.

Oh, we have a Dekor diaper pail and we wash whenever it gets full, so about 1.5 days. We have twins. We could go longer between washes (like 2 days) but then we get lazy and it builds up and then all of our diapers are dirty with no clean diapers. Well, we have diapers but we use back up stash which are fitted and covers (and snappi). DH doesn't particularly like using the snappi.

I am curious what others routine is for cloth diapers, as far as laundry goes. How often do you wash diapers and what detergent do you use? Do you hang dry or put in the dryer? Does your SO help with them at all?

My LO has sensitive skin so we have to use Free and Clear Soap, which means we have to add a bit more detergent in than if we were to use another type. I also add borax in to both the pre-wash and super wash loads, because of our hard water. I do the first cycle on cold and the super wash one on hot. I put them in the dryer and then they live in the laundry basket for a few days usually, before I can get to stuffing them. I didn't mind doing it at first but now it bores me! DH has a hard time stuffing them correctly, to where the inserts aren't all bunched up, so I end up doing it.
