I have a couple of questions about pocket diapers. You have to wash them after each use, correct? They aren't simply diaper covers, right? The insert that comes with them, do you use that in addition to, say, a prefold? Or just use the insert alone? Have you used prefolds with a diaper cover and prefer the pocket diapers? Thanks so much!

@HabesBabe: Oh! And a couple styles of LB have a super sift fleece lining as opposed to polyester. It's sooo soft. I was kinda jealous lol

@HabesBabe: I do. I have a BG snap. I like the fit a lot better personally. BGs are still bulky on my 15 week old. I also don't like the snap configuration on the BG. It's easier to get a good fit with lotus Bumz, and when they're newborn you can snap it all the way over. I like the colors/prints better too.

Neither leaked though. I haven't had any issues with either diaper. Lotus is cheaper though. And I liked that it's a smaller WAHM brand/company. She is great to work with and was really helpful with putting together a package for us after our stash didn't work.

It is a great deal! @Coco Bee: Do you have BGs, too? If so, how do they compare?

Just wanted to let anyone know who's interested, Lotus Bumz pocket diapers are for sale on Totsy today, about $7 off retail price! We personally use Lotus bumz and absolutely LOVE them. They work so great for our kid at a fraction of the price of other popular pocket diapers.
highly recommended :)
