@autumnlove: I think I may start doing that, I am also going to try some of the hemp inserts. I have some discount codes for the site where I ordered his diapers so it should be pretty cheap.

@tlcbaby: I changed her at least once when she used to wake 2-3 times..I didn't want to rile her up too much!

One more question - do you change their diaper anytime during the night? We still do a couple of night feedings, but I don't usually change him because I don't want to get him too awake, but maybe I need to be changing him once during the night, too?

I use fitted diapers for overnight, pockets just don't cut it around here for nights.

We use SBish fitteds & wool covers. When they're properly lanolized, totally bullet proof for us. I've for a heavy wetter and they get us through 12 hours. Total life savers!!

We are doubling the BG inserts but need another option. We tried Thirsties fitteds and covers and it was a giant lake-of-pee fail lol

We had to use fitteds for night as nothing else had enough absorbency.

A is four months and sleeping long stretches at night and I notice his diapers are pretty heavy and wet in the morning. We are using BG 4.0's and Freetimes. I could just shove another insert in there, but I've heard people like the hemp inserts for overnight.

What do you use for overnight if it is different than what you do during the day?
