For us, I just scraped it to the best of my abilities with toilet paper, and then afterward, sprayed a LOT of Bac-Out on the diaper! It always washed out in the washing machine! Thankfully(??), LO was constipated so he would only poop once every couple of days, sometimes no poop for up to a week! Things got much better when he finally learned to drink water! Hahaha.

liners for the transition to more solid poops, a scraper for a bit and then the bum genius sprayer and a spray pal to help against spray-back!

Diaper sprayer. Liners negate the goodness of cloth diapers, IMO.

Diaper sprayer, and a good swish if it's stuck on. Sometimes I just let it soak in the toilet for awhile. I do it right after she goes.

LINERS.

It almost always stays in the liner because the liner is slightly larger than the diaper. If a little gets on the diaper and it's enough to wipe off, I use toilet paper to wipe it into the toilet. Spray with bac-out, plop it in the diaper pail. Otherwise i just spray with bac-out. I think I've had two awful diapers where I've had to dunk them into the toilet and swish them around. Ugh so nasty.

@Mrs. Sunshine: we have a diaper sprayer and DH built me a poop bucket (like the potty pail you can buy) to make sure we get all the poop into the toilet without spraying poopy water all over the bathroom. We spray as soon as we can after the poop, but the daycare poops usually don't get done until the evening after LO goes to bed. We only wash twice a week.

@Mrs. Sunshine: Swish until most does. Whatever doesn't goes into the wash. I just try to make sure that I get the chunks out at least. When she was just eating purées, it all came off.

Flushable liners give our old pipes major problems, and they never really worked anyway. I just swish in the toilet. Sometimes it's solid enough that I can just plop it off the diaper, but mostly I swish. It's not too bad.
