We use BG 4.0's too. At night we stuff with two of the large BG inserts and sometimes also a newborn insert. The only time we have leaks is when my husband snaps her diapers wrong (usually leaving it too loose).

We use BG 4.0's day and night. At night we stuff with two medium hemp inserts and one BG insert. We very rarely have leaking issues.

@littlebug: I'll look at Kawaii.

@jetsa: She hasn't leaked with our BG. I really like the customization of the pockets and haven't tried it with a Freetime since I sold my entire stash of them. I have two new covers coming my way, so I'll keep trying.

We had a problem with D leaking overnight, too. We bought a few Kawaii Baby Goodnight Heavy Wetter diapers, and haven't had a leak since.

we don't have issues...her diaper is on pretty tight though. I use an insert and BG Freetimes. Sometimes I use sustainable babyish with a wool cover but it's so pee soaked, it grosses me out

BG 4.0 triple stuffed- two BG inserts and a hemp babies doubler for LO 1. I recently had our leg and back elastics repaired after 2 years and the diapers are "new" again.

@avivoca: i think the material on the inside of the rumparooz is different than the bg. I never have a problem with super wet skin. I don't think lo is a super heavy wetter though...his diaper is really full and weighs a ton, but i don't usually notice a smell. Hmm..

@Mrs. Lion: We have been using disposables overnight since birth, but I wanted to try the cloth option. BG seems to be okay since I use both inserts, but like @Silva: she wakes up with wet skin no matter what. The wet skin doesn't seem to bother her, but I let her air out for a few minutes anyway.

The ammonia smell is killer though.

We had to use disposables until recently. I use one of our rumparooz pocket diapers with an extra microfiber insert (the one that came with the diaper). We very rarely have leaks (about as often as we would with disposables...sometimes they just happen no matter what you do).

We gave up at night- she was waking up with soaking wet skin no matter what I did. But we didn't have issues with leaks when we used wool covers, and I know lots of people find wool is the best option for overnight.

We gave up on it around 14 months and now use disposables at night. We were using these for a while though, and had no problems with leaks, but I couldn't stand the strong ammonia smell in the morning. We put a fitted cover over them and I hope to be able to try them again with #2.

We recently started trying to cloth diaper at night, and it's been going fairly well UNLESS Baby A sleeps on her stomach. Then she wakes up in a puddle of pee and usually I have to forego a shower to wash the sheets instead.

So if you cloth diaper at night, what do you use? She has leaked with a Thirsties cover and fitted diaper. We also have a BG 4.0 in rotation along with two other fitted diapers. I've ordered some bigger covers, but I'm not sure that's the problem since her diaper was tucked inside the cover.
