@sulli301: I agree! I'm always sad when they come out with cute new colors because my husband will kill me if I buy anymore! But I'm still finding other cloth things to try. My newest is wipes and so far I love it, wish I started months ago!

@cyndistar3: Oh nice, I guess they have them now. Maybe they did before too and I just missed them. If you want to get them off of amazon for cheaper you can always do the swagsbucks tool bar. You just use it instead of google for searches and it gives you points which you can use to redeem dollars at amazon. It's a bit annoying to use though.

@cyndistar3: I bought some of mine off of there when they had % off discounts. There might be some discount for buying off of amazonmom. They don't have all the brands though, like no bumgenius. The cloth diaper board on babycenter is usually all over sales. Also babydealsdujour.com is a list of sales and sometimes has cloth diapers. On zulily right now there are fuzzibunz (unless theyre all sold out) and you can buy a coupon for zulily off of plum district andget even more of a discount. Also look into buying seconds, there's usually only a tiny mark on them, they're new but discounted because of a small cosmetic flaw.

I spent a lot less on diapers though I have a variety of diapers, and there's plus and minus to having a variety. But if you've got time you can wait for a good sale and you can get diapers for substantially cheaper.

@artbee: I guess I will just have to bring it up with my husband lol... I don't know how he feels about dropping $750 on diapers at one time haha. I definitely think I would prefer all in ones... seems a lot easier. Also, where do you get your liners?

@cyndistar3: I only use elemental. I don't think 4.0 are all in one, so you'd be dealing with inserts and such. But I'm not 100% on that.

@cyndistar3: Also, if you cloth diaper it's also easy to transition to cloth wipes, which saves money. I just use baby wash cloths and spray her tush with water. Unless it's a poo, then I use normal wipes. I'm like you, I don't want to deal with the poo.

@cyndistar3: I don't think I spent that much either, I do think it was cheaper b/c I bought in bulk.

I think 30 is a good number for me, but if we had a couple less we would be fine. Now I do a wash every other day and always have some left over, I'm never worried that she's not going to have a diaper. Plus, the more you have the less wear they get.

@cyndistar3: Lol, yes. I said it's a big investment! But, they will last her whole diapering life, and her siblings. I bought 30 so that's $750 (I wouldn't have even bought that many but my parents offered to help). And now I never have to buy another diaper. How much to you spend on disposables?

@cyndistar3: I bought them online, we don't have a store near us that sells them, or I would have done that because I'd rather have been able to see/feel them first since it's such a big investment.

Thegreennursery.com. I looked at a bunch of sites and there was no difference in price so I just picked one.

@cyndistar3: I found the website dirtydiaperlaundry.com super helpful in answering a lot of my cloth diaper questions. The blogger does a ton of video reviews of different styles of cloth diapers, and has some very informative posts about how each style (pocket, all-in-one, fitted, etc) works.

@cyndistar3: I think it's much easier for SAHM's, since I'm able to do laundry whenever I need to. They have different options for diapers. Some you have to keep buying more as they get bigger, but I use Bum Genius Elementals, they're All in One, One Size. So they will grow with her. They have snaps so you can make the diaper bigger or smaller.

@cyndistar3: It's $8 for 100 pack of liners. And for me, I know my baby girl is going to have one poo a day, usually in the morning. So after that poo, I stop putting liners in so I'm not wasting them.

Personally, price isn't my big reason for doing cloth though anyway. It's just a big perk.
