@Arden: So I just ordered a "Party In my Pants' liner. I only had to pay for shipping since they are having a free giveaway. It only cost me $3.99. I figure I could see how I like these pads over the lunapads.

@mrs. 64: thanks for the website!!! I was looking for a cloth pad that is good for petite women where the pad can get narrower. Party in my pants (yeah, weird name) has it!

I just placed an order with Lunapads but maybe I'll try the ones you suggested too.

Thank you!!

I've used a lunette cup, cloth reusable pads, and the disposable Natracare cotton liners that @Spaniellove mentioned.

I like the Natracare liners a light for light days, but I don't like the pads because they are bulky. I got the lunette cup because my doctor wanted me to try it and it's just okay, but I got tired of cleaning it and inserting it was uncomfortable. My preference is actually the cloth pads. They are really comfortable and not messy at all. They come in cute prints that make that time of the month not quite as depressing. They are also really easy to wash. I got mine at http://www.partypantspads.com/. (Yes, the name is horrible, but the product is good.) I should mention that I have a lighter flow so I don't know how these work for heavy flows. I am able to stick to the liners or small pads.

@bluestriped bee: I sort of compromise by using disposable cotton pads and liners from Natracare. Once I started having to use Endometrin and wear at least a liner for two weeks at a time, comfort became important!

@Weagle: I think I stopped because I was going out of town and did want deal with fiddling with it in public restrooms. Plus, I've had some leaking issues and just wanted to go back to pads.

Also, since Ihad a few unsuccessful IUIs, I think I was just tired of sticking anything up there. Ha!

I want to try cloth to see how much more comfortable it is compared to disposable.

Question: I'm a petite person. Are the Lunapads too wide?

@Mrs. Twine: haha. Thanks for posting!

You know you can always count on me to chime in on akward feminine products! I use a diva cup and Lunapads. I can't really compare because that's what I've been using for several years, but I like them. I find that the pads are more comfortable than their disposable brethren, and, like cloth diapers, some are even cute. I don't really care about that so much considering that when you are using them they look more like something out of Carrie.. but anyways... I used them postpartum and any time I think I might get leaks.
@MerryC; I always carry around a water bottle with me in my purse or bag, and if there isn't a sink handy (and sometimes even if there is) I will use water from that to rinse. Have you tried doing it that way?

@Weagle: I use both the divacup and cloth pads, but for whatever reason, my divacup is less comfortable postpartum. I know they make a different one for after kids but I think its just bigger. Maybe I just need to get the hang of it again.....? Otherwise, my only downside to the diva is that I like it best when I can use a bathroom with the toilet and sink together, if they are far apart or a pocket toilet, its more awkward to empty, rinse, and replace.

I want to know too! I think cloth pads would be fantastic (probably more comfortable too), especially right now for postpartum, but I never got any. :(

Is there a reason you don't use the DivaCup anymore? I've looked into it, but I want to know the cons if there are any!

I've heard about cloth menstrual pads over the past year but never took plunge in buying them. I kinda feel like trying them out.

I know a few of you guys use them.

I have used divacup in the past and usually use pantyliners in combination. Well, right now, I'm just using disposable pads when AF comes. Disposables aren't that comfortable and I want to venture into the world of cloth pads. Plus, I plan on cloth diapering whenever I do eventually get pregnant, so this will be my first experience with cloth. It will be good to see if I can take it! Haha.

What brand do you use?

I see Lunapads and Glad Rags are the more well known companies that make them.

Then there are a few esty sellers. Anyone buy from
Esty?

If you use them, how many do you have? What sizes?
