We used Gerber-- they run small, which is great for my skinny guy. He's 27.5 months and he isn't likely to move up from the original 18 month sizes we bought any time soon. They don't absorb much -- but I preferred that for learning purposes. Until I felt like I could trust him, he wore those plastic covers on top. They were crinkly and he'd sweat a lot, so he didn't wear them anymore than necessary.

Thank you! I had tried ladder hill design (that I do love) but the shipping to canada sucks (all canada posts fault :( ) so I might get one more night time one and try the blueberry ones.

Blueberry and Imse Vimse are pretty comparable. Imse Vimse seem to hold a little more, but are more bulky. Your daughter sounds similar in build to Lorelei-- the Blueberrys are a little better fit, but no issues with Imse Vimse even though they are only snug at the waist and legs (then they sort of baloon out a little).

We used Blueberry. They are pricy but they worked great. I saved them for the next kid since we didn't use them more than a few months before we transitioned to regular underwear.

I liked the imse vimse ones, they are thick enough to hold a small to medium sized pee. They are bulkier than standard underpants (obviously) but not terrible. The last kid I used term with had skinny legs with a tummy and they fit fine. The problem was that they are around $18 a pair which is expensive if you need q bunch. We bought 3 pair and kept her in underwear at home and those when we were out and about. They are uncomfortable when wet whereas this child wasn't bothered by wetness in pull ups and literally couldn't tell she had peed in disposable diapers.

Hi! We had stopped cloth diapers over the last year. But we plan on starting in the next week with the new little one.
So with that change we decided to try cloth training pants for our middle child (she turned 2 in January).
Any suggestions of kinds? She is almost in a size 24 months but the waist on most of that size is a little big. She has quite small thighs with a larger toddler belly. Most of her pants sit on her hips.
