Another Boden fan here! When we lived in Europe, I bought tons of dresses from them for
me. I wear them constantly, they wash so well (I always line dry) and are still in great shape after numerous wears. I like that they provide specific sizes and measurements for each garment since I can be up or down a size depending on fabric and cut. I also love their kids clothes, which are super cute and just as high quality as the adult clothes. I would always wait for a sale and then stock up. They have a great return policy too.

Agree with the suggestion for Boden. It's more expensive, but the quality is great and there are often sales.

I was just going to suggest Boden, like Mrs D. The quality is awesome! Some of the women's stuff can be a bit older but a lot of it is not. I love love the kids clothes, totally worth the cost in my mind. Nordstrom also carries the kids line, not sure about women's. You can usually find coupon codes though.

I'm really liking Lou & Grey (online or bought through LOFT) for casual, comfortable but stylish clothes.

example: https://www.louandgrey.com/lou-&-grey-ribbon-around-dress/447808?skuId=23973701&defaultColor=2075&colorExplode=false&catid=cat3020028

maybe not your style, but i just think its a good example of updating a simple staple

I have recently become obsessed with Boden. I love the style and the quality is great. Super cute kids clothes too.

I recently found an online "boutique" called Mindy Mae's Market - I'm loving their collection of casual tops. The prices are good and the shipping is always free.

I buy 75% of my clothing from LL Bean!! Another 20% is from LandsEnd, and the rest of my stuff comes from JC Penney.

LL Bean and LandsEnd are great because their pieces are very high quality and truly last.

Follow living in yellow on Facebook! I can't stop shopping because of her. The Motherchic is good too, but pricier.

I'm 5'8" with a looong torso so it's tough sometimes.
I really like Halogen, Caslon and BP at Nordstrom. They have great options for tunic length tops and sweaters that can be worn with jeans or leggings

Also talbots, specifically the outlet stores. I remember my mom shopping there as a kid so I kind of avoided but one recently opened near me and I decided to check it out. I found a lot a liked. Not sure what the online options look like though.

So I think I was the one to suggest LL Bean. I'm also a fan of lands end - a lot, though not all, of their clothing is available in tall. Some of it is a little old lady ish but each season there is more and more I like. They also constantly have awesome coupons.

I also prefer a slightly preppy/classic look.

When I was shopping for a jacket someone here recommended LL Bean and I love it! I’m going to order a few more items there.

Usually I wear Old Navy and BR- J Crew was once a staple. I have a very long torso so tall sizes are a plus. I mostly wear skinny jeans and long sweatshirts or button ups- I tend to dress more preppy than anything. I live in a cool/rainy climate. In the summer I am usually in Lilly Pultzier.

Any other brands I should check out? I’m in a bit of a clothes rut.
