@Sapphiresun: 3T is quite a bit bigger than 18-24m so I definitely won't jump to that first.

My 31m is still growing like a weed!

I would go with the recommended sizing unless you have a long/tall child. They do slow down. I think once you reach 2T you can just buy every year unless you have a tall child. My oldest was always very on target with sizing but my youngest isn't and he started wearing 3Ts just a few months into turning 2.

I usually go by the recommended heights and weights from the manufacturer and 2T is bigger than 24m except for a couple of exceptions (one coming to mind is Columbia). So normally 2Ts after 18-24m.

My LO has definitely slowed down on growth. He was in 12m cloths at 5m old and now at 20m wears anything from 24m to 3T. So still ahead but not as badly.

2T is longer and 3T would be way too big at this point.

I have a 16 month old, that's been solidly into her 18-24 month clothing for a couple months now, and even those are getting a little short.

I'm curious if 2T is significantly longer or is 3T the next size up? And also... the growing slows down a bit pretty soon, right?!?
