Thanks, everyone!

@happygal @crystal: I did take a HPT last night and it was negative. :( but the flow is a lot lighter and no more clots or tissue today.

This is the first time I used the boards in this way and it was so helpful to have immediate input and feedback from everyone. Thanks again!

@SpanielLove: only an hour or so. Grr! Maybe I'll POAS before bed. Though if it is positive it'll just tell me it's an early miscarriage, right? I guess I'd still rather know!

@HolisticMama: Thanks for the hugs and positive thoughts!

Thanks all. Not on any meds now. DH has been taking clomid for low motility and morphology, but it's been 3 months and the numbers are still low. We had 2 failed IUIs, and were told we should move to IVF, so we're taking a couple months to process everything. We've been TTC for 21 months. We got PG naturally last year but had a MC.

Should I wait until morning to take a HPT?

I also agree, a test might tell you more. Your RE might do a beta but may not have a lot of answers otherwise since you weren't due for AF yet. Were you on any meds?

Since it's before AF usually arrives, I would think it's just AF. Usually a chemical happens after AF would arrive so it seems like AF is just late. It's hard to say without knowing more about your background...

Definitely take a HPT. If it were a miscarriage the test would read positive. If not, it's most likely a wonky cycle.

Sorry, don't know your background.. Have you taken a HPT? Even during a m/c, HCG is still detectable for weeks to a month after conception. Hope you get some answers soon!

Hi all,

When does clotting cross from normal to an early MC? I start spotting (light brown) on cd22, continued into cd23, then started full flow on cd24. Today is cd25 and I've had a few decent size clots and very heavy bleeding (super tampon every 4 hours). My cycle is normally like clockwork and I usually get AF on cd29.

I've left a message for my RE, but it's after hours and don't expect to hear anything tonight. Other than really tired and mild cramps, I feel fine.

Any thoughts or opinions you can share? I hope this isn't TMI!
