It's totally cluster feeding! At only 13 days it is completely normal. It takes 3 full months for your milk supply to come in and during that time cluster feedings can be expected periodically. I remember nursing for 5 hours straight one night...shudder! It will get better with time but for now just resign yourself to it as it is very good for both you and baby. If you don't already have a Kindle or kindle app, I recommend getting one now and loading up on comedies. I blew through several David Sedaris books and the one by Tina Fey during the heyday of cluster feeds! Good luck and hang in there :)

2 weeks is a common time for a growth spurt! We bottle fed LO in the first 4 weeks due to supply issues and I remember one night around the 2-3 week mark he took 6 oz in 2 hours (we we giving him 45-60 ml bottles at the time)!

When we started BFing LO used to clusterfeed from 4pm to bedtime. I just sat on the couch with him for 3-4 hours! This ended at around 8-9 weeks. It wasn't fun feeling like a walking milk factory!

Ah poor you, it's sooo tiring! And yes, it sounds like cluster feeding. The only thing that worked for us was time passing, after a day or two LO would get back to his usual schedule.

Yup! My LO was a big time cluster feeder when she was just born. At a little over a month she still occasionally cluster feeds.
NO advice on how to get them to stop. I'm perpetually afraid of her being hungry so if she wants to eat I nurse!

I hate the word cluster!!!
I used to give Lo expressed milk in a bottle because it kept her full longer and got her napping longer too

I remember this, not too fondly. Literally I'd just be straightening/cleaning up from the last feeding and Wagon Sr. would bring the baby back to me, and I'd be like, NO. He JUST ate. NOOOOO!!!! ;)

Yes, sounds like cluster feeding, and it will happen on and off as they grow in spurts!! You are lucky to have a barracuda (sometimes Wagon Jr.'s feedings would last 45 mins!). Maybe try and urge him to eat more at each feeding, then try your best to get him to nap between each? Our motto was always "keep them full all day, they'll sleep all night".

Since yesterday afternoon, LO has been feeding (and giving hunger signals) every hour or so. He doesn't feed for very long - no longer than 10 minutes, and then is done regardless of whether I offer more. He normally only feeds for 10-15 minutes (he's what our pediatrician calls a "barracuda feeder") so his length of feeding isn't all that much different than before.

Is this cluster feeding? How long does it last and can I do anything to get him back to 2-3 hour feedings?

EDIT - LO is 13 days old
