I'm not great at the CM side of things, but usually you will keep going more fertile as you approach O. So if it's between creamy and watery it'll probably get more watery soon. As far as charting it it's not a huge deal which one you pick because the goal is that either way it's telling you you will be ready "soon" (from a few days to a week) if everything progresses normally... Does that help at all?

So I'm still on my first cycle off birth control, hoping for the best but not expecting to conceive right away or be able to read my signs correctly. But I still started charting just to get the hang of things (and because I find this weirdly fascinating). And I have a CM question.

My CM the past couple of days hasn't been EWCM, more watery, but (and this is where the possible TMI comes in), when I press and pull my fingers apart, little white peaks appear. It's not what I would describe as creamy, lotiony, or white to first sight. Is this considered watery? Or creamy?

If my cycle were to go back to just what it was pre-BC, I'd be on a 28- to 30 day cycle, which would put me right around O right now. I don't expect my cycle to rightsize itself right away, but just curious. Thanks for listening to me talk about my cervical mucus :)
