I am a pretty big tea/coffee/wine drinker and a number of years ago I noticed staining. Within two weeks of getting the Sonicare I could see visible improvement. I started doing it when my dentist mentioned my enamel was wearing down. I've never seen anyone else drink hot coffee with a straw, and a lot of people have commented on it.. but I don't slurp it abruptly or anything so I've never burned my tongue. Plus if you sip it through a straw you wouldn't risk spilling on your shirt if you were sipping while driving or walking. Nite White" professional whitening system, but it wasn't cheap. The dentist said you should rinse your mouth out with water after drinking either, to prevent staining - gonna try that.
